The “Tsumugi” reception table by Les Ateliers Vau Fontaine is of American-Japanese inspiration, very elegant, with pure, minimalist lines. Highly functional too: no knee can ever knock against the legs.

It is made in solid black walnut; the main top rests on cross-rails joined by a long sliding dovetail, and is composed of two large slabs joined by structural butterfly keys inlaid into the solid wood. Traditional pegged and mortise-and-tenon joinery, all designed and made to last for centuries.
