DABI Design

During my visit to the Maison&Objet fair in January 2026, I met Christophe Dabi. A designer and art craftsman based in Paris for 15 years, he is known for cabinetmaking pieces that combine craft precision with poetry. His work explores light, material and organic forms, giving rise to creations that are both sculptural and functional. His lights evoke nature and the fluidity of light while remaining elegant.

At this latest edition of Maison&Objet, I was able to admire two of his new pieces: first L'applique Arbre, a more discreet variation of his emblematic light L'Arbre, which keeps its organic poetry while gaining in finesse. Then the Noé floor lamp, a variation on his Noé wall light and pendant. Restrained, minimal, yet soulful creations, where you sense the craftsman's hand as much as the designer's eye.

And there you have it: on top of being talented, he is a very nice person! I warmly recommend a visit to his website www.dabidesign.fr and/or his shop. Instagram: Dabidesign.
