More information

The small “Wharton” table by Les Ateliers Vau Fontaine is inspired by Wharton Esherick, the American designer considered the father of the American Studio Craft movement. A major figure in fine furniture, who notably had a strong influence on the work of G. Nakashima. Simple, soothing lines. The top is made of two pieces of walnut (black or European) carefully selected for their figure, joined by structural butterfly keys.

Traditional pegged mortise joinery, all designed and made to last for centuries.
