Dictionnaire amoureux illustré des Arbres

A beautiful book by Alain Baraton, head gardener of the national estate of Trianon and the Grand Parc of Versailles.

The “Dictionnaire amoureux des Arbres” (a lover's dictionary of trees, in French) tells you everything: their native lands, the origin of their names, the medicinal properties of their leaves, the colour of their flowers and the flavour of their fruit… A truly extraordinary world.

A must-read!
